Earth Day is celebrated each year on 22 April and acts as a reminder to protect the environment and try to live a more sustainable life.
Earth Day started in 1970 when the impacts of 150 years of industrial development could no longer be ignored and by 1990, 200 million people in 141 countries were celebrating Earth Day.
The Earth Day 2022 Theme is ‘Invest In Our Planet’ and aims to spread awareness about issues, including pollution, deforestation and global warming.
